We had a fun Halloween this year, although we really didn’t go treat or treating. I asked Roxy the week before Halloween what she wanted to be and she said she wanted to be a minion. So I frantically searched and went shopping on Etsy and Amazon for our outfits. Roxy and I were minions. I got us both some overalls, yellow shirts, and cute crocheted minion hats. Kenny work black and wore a scarf as Gru from Despicable Me. It turned out pretty well. Not bad for a last minute costume effort!
We went to a fun Halloween party with friends. It had tons of food, candy, and karaoke. I wasn’t actually expecting to sing karaoke but sorta got talked into singing with my friends and our kids. We sang the song “Do You Want To Build A Snowman?” from the movie Frozen (which I’m sure most little girls in America are familiar with). Kenny and I are talking about getting a karaoke machine. We love having our family and friends over, and it seems like a good way to have fun. All in all, we had a good Halloween, even though we didn’t go trick or treating or hit any harvest festivals this year. Roxy didn’t miss out on candy for sure. Actually, I keep hiding the candy and my little minion keeps finding it. I’m sure I’m not the only parent with this problem. Enjoy the pics and the video from our Halloween!
I hope you’re all having a wonderful fall! I send you all love and blessings.
