Circus Vargas, one of the world’s biggest traveling circuses still using a big top tent, is coming to Sacramento. There will be multiple shows at locations in Citrus Heights, Roseville, and Folsom in September and October.
Circus Vargas is a family owned operation. Nelson and Katya Quiroga have a long history of performing. Clifford Vargas discovered Nelson and his brother and their trapeze act on a trip to South America in the 1980s. Later, when the owners retired, Nelson and Katya Quiroga decided to take over. They became American citizens and founded Tabares Entertainment in 2005. Tabares Entertainment is the parent company of Circus Vargas.
Circus Vargas will show on September 21-25 in Citrus Heights at Sunrise Mall. September 28-30 and October 1-2, there will be shows at Folsom Lakeside Church in Folsom. Circus Vargas will show on October 5-15 at Westfield Galleria in Roseville.
